Spirit of Kernow - Cornwall Soul Pilgrimage

Come journey with myself and my soul sister Sophia Blanton as we immerse in the land, coastline and monuments of our ancestors as we are transformed in pilgrimage, land-walking and ceremony by the magical land of Kernow (Cornwall). Journey with us:

Day 1:

Early morning departures from Glastonbury to north Cornwall where we:

  • Visit the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, Tintagel Castle

  • Stay overnight near picturesque Tintagel.

Day 2:

  • Pilgrimage through the faery portal of St Nectan’s Glen

  • Immerse in traditions of magick and witchcraft in the scenic village of Boscastle with its world-famous Museum of Witchcraft and Magic

  • Stay for a second night at our accommodation near Tintagel.

Day 3:

Through mid Cornwall:

  • Ceremony at Dozmary Pool, a lake on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, famous for its Arthurian legends: it is said to be the place where King Arthur received Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake and where Sir Bedevere returned it after Arthur’s death

  • A lunch stop at the legendary Jamaica Inn, famous for its legends of smuggling, shipwrecks, and ghostly encounters, and the setting for Daphne du Maurier’s novel of the same name, further cementing its place in popular culture and folklore. The inn has a reputation as one of the most haunted locations in England, with numerous reports of paranormal activity.

  • Ceremony at St. Keyne’s Well. St Keyne was a sister of St Nectan: she was said to have enchanted her well such that the water granted mastery to the drinker!

  • Arrive in the far south-west, staying in a beautiful beach-side apartment in Penzance, for a day of ancestral journeying tomorrow.

Day 4:

In the ancient and mythical southwest. we immerse in the ancestral megalithic landscape of:

  • Men-an-Tol and Lanyon Quoit megalithic monuments

  • Merry Maidens stone circle

  • Carn Euny ancient village

After a brief visit to spectacular Land’s End, the most westerly point of the United Kingdom, we visit Zennor where we can explore the church and village with their famous local mermaid legend before returning to our apartment at Penzance.

Day 5:

We visit two spectacular Cornish bays in the far south of the Cornish peninsula, on the Lizard Peninsula, with time to relax, walk and swim:

  • Gunwalloe Church Cove

  • Kynance Cove

Day 6:

A free day to relax, shop, perhaps visit St Michael’s Mount or beautiful St Ives.

We will share a celebratory group closing circle and meal to seal the end of our adventure in these mythical soul lands.

Day 7:
